More about Sandy Nook

Sandy Nook is both a modern and spacious property flooded with light from the beautiful large windows spaced around the property on each floor. This contemporary house is situated in a superb location in the picturesque village of St Agnes with its array of restaurants, galleries and shopping.

The large open-plan living accommodation boasts a spacious and well equipped kitchen area with high gloss units and island table, leaving lots of space when cooking up a meal for the whole family. The dining area has a good sized dining table with seating for up to eight guests, leading in to the light and airy sitting room, with wood burning stove and french doors to the garden. The ground floor also has a shower room. Upstairs, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and large windows providing a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, a spacious twin bedroom, and a super king-size bedroom which can be set up as two single beds if preferred. Bedroom four doubles up as a snug or second sitting room with a double sofa bed and television, leading to the family bathroom, conveniently with over head shower.

Outside is a lovely garden with patio area, garden furniture and a barbecue along with a handy shed for storing bicycles, surf boards and beach equipment.

Tin mining was of vital importance to the village, and for this reason, St Agnes has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, St Agnes is more known for it's thriving arts and crafts, restaurants and cafes, and it's beautiful beaches. Sandy Nook is not far from Trevaunance Cove, perfect for the keen surfers and those just wanting to soak up the sunshine and explore the rock pools. There are also two very popular beaches nearby, one being Chapel Porth which is owned by the National Trust, and Porthtowan which has recently been described by the Telegraph as the UK's best beach for learning to surf - so don't forget to pack your surfboard! This beautiful area is perfect for walking and is also becoming increasingly popular for cyclists.
